1. General Entry Requirements
1a) Immigration Requirements
To enter Singapore, travellers must meet the following immigration requirements:i) Passport Validity
- Have minimum 6-month passport validity if you are not a Singapore passport holder.
- Short term travellers holding a passport or travel document from a visa-required country/region must apply for a Visa.
- Visa-required travellers can use the Visa-Free Transit Facility for stay of less than 96 hours in Singapore, if eligible.
- Ensure that you do not bring prohibited items into Singapore.
- Familiarise yourself with immigration/customs clearance procedures, including whether you are eligible for automated clearance.
- Short-Term travellers should have sufficient cash and proof of onward travel (tickets, visas), and ensure that you do not stay beyond your visit pass validity. You may retrieve your e-Pass after arrival using the e-Pass Enquiry Portal or check your visit pass validity using the visit pass validity tool.
1b) SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card within three (3) days (including the day of arrival) before arriving in Singapore, except:- Those transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance;
- Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Long-Term Pass Holders entering via land checkpoints.
Submission of SGAC is Free and can be done via the SGAC e-Service or MyICA Mobile app. Please refer to SGAC with Electronic Health Declaration for more information.
2. Check if You Need an Entry Visa
Most visitors to Singapore do not require a visa for entry.If you hold a travel document issued by one of the countries or places listed below, you will require a valid Singapore entry visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (PRC) NATIONALS With effect from 9 February 2024, holders of ordinary passports issued by the People's Republic of China (PRC) will be exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 30 days in Singapore. This reciprocal visa exemption arrangement was announced at the 19th Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation on 7 December 2023, and subsequently affirmed through an exchange of diplomatic notes between Singapore and the PRC. Holders of diplomatic, public affairs and service passports issued by the PRC will continue to be exempted from visa requirements for a stay of up to 30 days in Singapore as per current treatment. |

-A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid visa to travel to, and seek entry into, Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA officers at the point of entry. The period of stay granted is not tied to the validity of your visa. Travellers are advised to refer to further entry requirements at ICA’s website prior to travelling to Singapore.

Invitation Letter
The Conference Organizing Committee is not authorized to issue a visa directly but can issue an Invitation letter to assist with your visa application. Please be noted as the following:1. An invitation letter will be issued upon the request only after the completion of registration.
2. Please consult the Singapore Overseas Mission in your local place about the required documents and approval period in advance for a smooth issuance.
3. In case an Invitation Letter from the Conference is required, please send your request to icbeb@academicconf.com / icbeb@icbeb.org, with the below info. included,
• Full name (same with passport)
• Gender (Male / Female)
• Nationality
• Date of Birth: (e.g. March 25, 1970)
• Passport No. and Date of expiry
• Your paper number if you are an author
4. ICBEB 2024 is NOT authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Invitation Letter. The invitation letter may help but cannot guarantee your entry into Singapore. Please refer to entry requirements for more information.
